Black History Stroll 2023:
Black Entrepreneurship & Economic Empowerment

In honor of Black History Month, the Cambridge Museum of History and Culture is proud to present our latest exhibit showcasing 15 Black entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Each of these individuals has left their mark on our city by shaping, supporting, and uplifting their communities.

The posters featured below are installed in the Kendall Center Public Lobby (355 - 325 Main St) from February to March 2023. Scroll down to view the posters — and be sure to click on each image to learn more!

This presentation could not have happened without the support of the following people, partners, and organizations: Boston Properties (BXP), Cambridge Arts, Cambridge Redevelopment Authority (CRA), City Manager's Office, City of Cambridge, MIT Office of Government and Community Relations, Michelle Parkos, Charles Sullivan, Alyssa Pacy, Valerie Beaudrault, Dr. Marian Darlington-Hope, Dr. Janie Ward, and Rev. Dr. Cheryl Townsend Gilkes.
